Q1. What is the Islamic Sufi Commission Australia?

The Islamic Sufi Commission Australia is a national body dedicated to preserving Tasawwuf, promoting unity, and supporting Islamic education, dawah, and community projects.

Membership is open to seekers, students of knowledge, teachers, and institutions who follow the Sunni creed. You can apply here.

Donations fund publications, dawah initiatives, events, conferences, administration, and community programs. Every contribution is a sadaqah jariyah that supports the growth of Tasawwuf in Australia.

All upcoming events are listed on our Events page. Many events are free, while others may require registration. You can also stay updated by following us on our socials for event updates and promotions.

Yes. The Commission collaborates with esteemed scholars and institutions from around the world through our International Advisory Committee and affiliated members.

Yes. Recognised institutions and zawiyahs can join as institutional members to strengthen collaboration and support collective projects. You can become a member here.

The Commission is an umbrella body founded to unite all traditional Sunni Sufi orders in Australia under one platform while respecting their diversity. While the Commission itself is not tied to one order, its founder serves as the official representative of the Tariqah al-Qadiriyyah al-ʿAliyyah in Australia. You can find their Facebook page here.
